Liquor Sales Licences
Manufacturer Licences
Permits the authorized manufacturer to sell products like beer, wine or spirits to the LCBO which arranges the distribution and sale throughout Ontario.
Other licences permit a representative to represent a manufacturer.

Special Occasions
Licences are predominantly issued for a two or four-year period and carries a respective fee for each.
Renewal notices are sent sixty days prior to the licence expiration.
Other licences or endorsements exist under each licence category – like the new Tailgate licence under Special Occasions.
Licences are issued once all municipal and in certain cases – federal – obligations are met.

Your Obligations
Theirs is to ensure you are protecting your customers from alcohol overindulgence through inspection of your premise, liquor acquisition and financial operations; identifying underaged patrons, among others.
Inspections can be conducted by either an AGCO Inspector or Police Officer to ensure compliance with the Liquor Licence Act (LLA).
Can recommend and/or lay charges in violation of the Liquor Licence Act (LLA).
